Although it is technically summer, autumn is slowly arriving to the Midwest. This weekend concluded the 2015 Concert Series with an outdoor Ed Sheeran concert–just in time for wonderful transition weather. It is officially blanket scarf weather! Blanket scarves are going to be regulars on this blog for the fall and winter season. I am obsessed with them because they can be worn a variety of ways and really add prominent details to an outfit. In this post I am wearing one of my many plaid blanket scarves (I bought a bunch from Cotton On when they had an awesome sale last year), which are perfect for an outdoor functions when you don’t want to wear a coat/jacket.

Ed Sheeran is hand down the most talented individual from this generation’s music industry. He performed as a one-man-band for the X Tour, I was in awe for 2 consecutive hours. He walked on stage with only a guitar and and some type of soundboard that he used to record different beats and provided his own background vocals and guitar riffs. My explanation does not do his performance justice–trust me, it was beyond magnificant. I think he is one of the few performers that tops today’s music charts that actually enjoys the opportunity he was granted and is in it solely for the music, not fame and fortune.
From the show…
I agree, blanket scarves are awesome because of the different ways you can wear them. Yours is really cute too! I love your red shoes also.
