This is kind of a miscellaneous post in comparison to the rest of the posts on this blog, but I just really wanted to share some book titles with you all. I lose myself in books quite often; reading is the best therapy and the quickest way to escape reality. I don’t have a favorite book because there is an aspect in every book that makes it my “favorite”, making it extremely difficult to choose only one. My breaks from school always include ample reading time to make up for the days during the semester were I couldn’t read for my personal enjoyment. Reading is extremely prevalent, especially in present day because we are living in a world dominated by advance technology and social media–set that aside for an hour a day and pick up an old fashioned book.
For the bookworms out there, here are some suggestions for a good read:
- The Road by Cormac McCarthy
- we were liars by E. Lockhart
- Black Ice by Becca Fitzpatrick
- Stolen by Lucy Christopher
- The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin
- Conversion by Katherine Howe
Thank you – shall try to find some of these!

I couldn’t put the book down after starting it–this goes for each book on the list.

I love The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer! And I really want to read Black Ice because I love the Hush Hush saga from the same author 🙂

Although Black Ice is completely different from the Hush Hush saga, there are so many similarities between the main characters–it’s beautifully written.
