Hello, I’m Marina, a self-proclaimed fashionista, cupcake enthusiast, and book lover.

I created Dress Gold in 2015 after I had a celebrity encounter where I looked like I had just rolled out of bed in a wardrobe malfunction prone mismatched outfit. Maybe the simile “looked like” does not apply here because I quite literally rolled out of bed in a wardrobe malfunction prone mismatched outfit the morning I met Harry Styles. I was sleep deprived, getting ready to road trip back home, and obviously was not anticipating a celeb encounter. So this blog was born after I promised myself to put forth some effort into my everyday look – not by going full glam everyday but rather being subtly stylish. This is a creative outlet for documenting style and few of my favorites things.
