Sorry for lack of posts last week, it was a crazy school week.  I promise to make it up with some fun posts the next few days; I was in Chicago for a bachelorette party this past weekend and I can’t wait to share the details with you wonderful readers.  First on the list, my stay at The Godfrey Hotel Chicago.

The Godfrey is hands down one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had.  I was very lucky to get the opportunity to collaborate with the hotel and feature the Godfrey here on the blog.  From the sleek and spacious rooms to the scenic skyline views to the exceptional service, this hotel goes above and beyond to ensure a fabulous stay.

I have ZERO complaints.  It was truly exceptional: aesthetically pleasing, friendly and responsive staff, clean clean clean clean clean clean clean clean (can’t express how important that is).

The Godfrey Hotel took customer service to a new level (as always, puns are fully intended).  Upon arrival you get a text from the hotel to make sure you are all settled and asking if you have any requests that can make your stay more comfortable.  They quickly responded to my requests and immediately sent someone to the room with the extra towel and pillow I needed.  It is true, not all superheroes wear capes.

10/10, 2 thumbs up, and plenty of stars for The Godfrey Hotel Chicago.  Stay there if you are visiting the Windy City.  Just do it (Shia LaBeouf voice).

Views for days.

We arrived Friday evening, just in time for the final hour of great lighting for hotel photos, then went out for dinner before completely exhausting ourselves (thanks 8 a.m. accounting exam…ugh).  You cannot go to Chicago without eating deep dish pizza, so here.

This was my first time trying Giordanos and let me say, it was mouth watering– I highly recommend, just allow yourself some extra time for waiting because one of the world’s best pizza places will ALWAYS be packed, but worth the wait.
