Now, on to one of the most exciting events from last weekends bachelorette party.  We took a trapeze class at the Trapeze School New York (TSNY)!  This was by far the most dare devilish, nerve racking, and exhilarating thing I have ever done.

Prior to our session, I watched hundreds of videos of the demonstration thinking it would better prepare me for when I got the opportunity to try it out myself.  It looked easy in all the videos.  In reality, it wasn’t so easy.  As I was climbing up the ladder to reach the platform, I acquired a fear of heights but by the time my last turn approached and I was able to improve my trapezing, that fear diminished.

TSNY was originally established in New York City but they have since opened locations in Chicago, Boston, Washington D.C., and Los Angeles.  If you live or are ever visiting one of these cities, I highly suggest attending a class.  This was a super fun activity that’s perfect for any group–our trapeze session consisted of 2 bachelorette groups (11 people total).  It was a really great way of eliminating some fears and broadening my comfort zone.
