I recently got back from a New England family getaway where we explored Madison, Providence, and Boston.  After flying into Boston, we made our way down to Madison, CT for the start of the vacation and some much-needed rest and relaxation.  There is no better way to unwind than to do absolutely nothing on a sunny day at the beach.

Where We Stayed: Madison Beach Hotel

This hotel was a DREAM!  It screams “nautical New England summer” and I wholeheartedly vibe with it–it sits directly on the beach, facing the Long Island Sound.  To top it off, we had a spectacular room with a view.  Needless to say, leaving was a struggle.
