I had my eye on this dress for quite some time before I was able to call it mine.  Initially, it was out of my price range, sold out in my size, and sold out in the color I preferred, but I still had it saved in my ASOS bag just in case.  Glad I did that because within a couple of days  the dress went on sale, was restocked in my size, and was available in 2 colors.  And when I say the dress went on sale, I mean a HUGE sale: $90 to $19.

I’m not usually a fan of high-low dresses but I loved how structured it was and that the high to low transition was subtle.  I’m also a sucker for an open back dress, so that definitely had something to do with my longing for it. Let’s not forget about the color–the electric blue is even more vibrant in person.

Dress: ModCloth (Similar; my dress was bought from ASOS) | Shoes: Aldo | Lips: MAC (Viva Glam I) | Clutch: Old Navy

  1. The high low as it is embodied in that dress is gorgeous–the proportions are perfect and set off the shoes beautifully. Love it!
