With the semester fully developing into nonstop homework and studying mode, finding time to read can become less of a possibility. Since reading is my favorite past-time, I go out of my way to secure some reading time in-between schoolwork. Here’s how I go about doing that:
- Reward yourself with a couple of chapters after taking an exam–you earned it!
2. Read before class begins–I couldn’t tell you how many times I arrive to class with a few minutes to spare before the professor starts lecturing.
3. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, allow yourself one chapter to escape from whatever reality is causing the stress.
4. Swap the binge watch for a binge read.
It’s been months since my last book related post, so here are the newest titles I added to my library:
This one is on deck; I hope to start it after the first round of exams.
I was one of those people who others got annoyed by when walking because I was literally reading while walking to class. Could not put this down. Beyond excited for the movie.
Haven’t read it yet but it received positive reviews.
The second installment to the Red Queen series; I’m about halfway through and absolutely love it. There’s talk about Red Queen movie adaptation.
